The admins have internally discussed this matter in the past. The gist of our decision to not get Discussions was because

1) The change couldn't be reverted.

2) We didn't really see any advantages to motivate the change.

3) At the time the announcement post was flooded with negative comments of people who didn't like it.

The final decision was to wait and see how other Wikias have implemented it, but that was in 2016 and since then we've never discussed it again and I've personally not been following the scene since then either. If you'd like to state your opinion on enabling Discussions then we'll perhaps we'll rediscuss.

I'm not very familiar with the Evolution SMP series, but from what I gathered from the descriptions and from the few videos I've watched, it's a private server. All its residents are friends and fellow Youtubers, collaborating to create Youtube content. Opening up servers to the public requires a lot of maintenance work and vandalism protection. If you think that I'm mistaken somewhere you can DM Grian on Twitter and ask directly.

Looks pretty great!
As a fun fact, we've been using this current background since 2013.

The Yogscast rarely read messages on this wiki, if you wish to contact them you would be better off using their contact information. That being said not many people know the current status of the Shadow of Israphel series, and although Lewis has occasionally mentioned that he is working on it, it seems that not many people are helping him.

Edit: Supposedly in recent streams Lewis has confirmed that Shadow of Israphel will simply never return, which is a bit sad, but it seems that the logistical problems were just too hard to overcome and wasn't considered worth it.

Very nice newsletter! I prefer to keep the "personal flair", mainly because I believe that if any news are relevant enough for people to care about the flavor, then it would probably have to be mentioned in a wiki page somewhere anyway and those won't have said flavor.

Sounds cool! I suppose making the newsletter on a forum post will be much easier on the production side as well. I hope this newsletter will be more regular than the previous ones!

How the heck is Yogscast2Infinnity still around?

Anyway, I've been checking this wiki about once every month now that's I'm pretty much officially retired, but for the record I agree with the 1 month thing though I'm pretty sure it was already a thing long before this thread.

Also, I'm probably never going to go back to full activity again, because of the removal of video pages, which allowed me to contribute without actually watching Yogscast videos (my fandom of them ended a long time ago, long before my retirement).

So see you people in a month.

The banner thing is all fixed, which is a goddam relief. Unfortunately for Gamepedia they also just lost one benefit when it happened. Anyway.

When I'm looking at this from a logical standpoint, the transfer is a bad idea. We have to fix thousands of video pages, lose viewers to our own old wiki, and more, while all we have come up at the moment is less ads, and do you know how many people use adblock?

This is just the conclusion I've reached. Unless there's something I'm missing, this is probably going to be my final vote.

I was away on holiday for the last few weeks (which was a day after my official announcement that I was coming out of inactivity, because I forgot and I'm dumb), so I haven't been around for a while. Disclaimer.

So judging from this thread, we have been discussing the drawbacks of moving over, and right now I'm wondering what the actual benefits are of moving over. We came up with a long list of drawbacks, how much good will come out of this transfer?

"Harassment (includes racism): This user has used multiple accounts, harrased several members and staff, attempted to unlawfully ban several people. claimed over a pubic commons creations website, vandalized and abused multiple accounts." -Xasperaz on the ban reason.

Yeah, I guess, but he should know that in the long run, this will not accomplish anything other than waste our time.

Unless that was his plot the whole time.

Jayden can't possibly be this dumb, this is probably another prank.

And it also confirms that Jayden has not even moved on yet. That simply boggles me.
