Civilization: Beyond Earth is the sixth title in Sid Meier's Civilization series and spiritual successor to Alpha Centauri. The Yogscast expressed interest in the game prior to its release and had stated that they plan to record games between each other similar to how they recorded Civilization V. Duncan started posting a prequel series on his channel, where he, Sjin and Pyrion Flax practice playing the game in order to beat Lewis. Although there was much hype withing the Yogs about the games release with many of them having fond memories about the Alpha Centari game, it turned out to not be that enjoyable to play with any plans for future series cancelled in favour of the traditional games.
