Daniel Yount is an American composer, known for writing scores for various YouTubers, mainly the Yogscast.

History[]

He began his career at age 15, writing many pieces of music and starting up his own company, AudioGrave. His music consists of instruments such as strings, drums, trumpets and other instruments, and the songs are usually very dark. He composes his scores electronically. In September 2013, Yount founded Dark Winter Music with fellow composer Geoffrey Vernon, dedicated to scoring music for film, television and video game productions. Since then, it has grown to include more composers, such as Austin Lawrence.

His works caught the eyes of Lewis and Simon, which led to Daniel writing the music which was used in their Shadow of Israphel series as well as certain custom maps. His music consists of instruments such as strings, drums, trumpets and other instruments, and the songs are usually very dark. He composes his scores electronically.
