Hotline Miami is a top-down action game developed by Dennaton Games. The game was published and released on October 23, 2012 for Windows. It features separate chapters of gameplay following an unnamed protagonist who is required to perform a task of killing everyone on the level. The game has a retro feel and look, influenced by the neo-noir crime genre. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is a sequel to the game and takes place both before and after the events of Hotline Miami.
