  • Howdy, I was going to look at the [Redacted] page but, I have come to find it is now just redirects to the main page. I was wondering if it was deleted or removed on purpose or not, I figured you would be the person to ask. I already made a forum post about this but I figured that wouldn't get any answers. Thank you for your time.

    • Hi. We received a request to remove HeyChrissa's information from this Wiki. We are not able to offer further information and her page will not be returning. Thanks.

  • Just so you know, you locked in the vandalism when you protected the page. Undo it to the last revision?

  • I noticed a user has removed Caff from pretty much every mention ever.
e.g. https://yogscast.fandom.com/wiki/Civilization_VI Is that normal? Seems weird to just scrub someone (understandably hated) from a historical perspective, especially when the majority of that content isn't Caff focused.

Feel free to forward this issue to someone else as I have no idea who's who on this wiki

    • "The Wiki Admin Team has taken action regarding Matthew Meredith. In response to the Official Yogscast statement, we have removed Matthew from our core navigation, categories and homepage. At this time, Matthew's dedicated page is also unavailable.

Yogscast Wiki Staff are currently reviewing the decision - we may choose to reinstate the page, with careful rewording, at a later date. As we are a Wiki that anyone can edit, a number of users have taken it upon themselves to start removing every trace of him from the site. We haven't established a policy regarding whether this is acceptable yet but as this is a sensitive topic to many people we are allowing it to happen for now."

  • My indie studio is currently in pre-production on a fighting game based off of the Yogscast, under the working title Yogsbash. I was wondering if you, or anyone reading this wall, would be willing to help me compile art, characters, possible move sets, and lore that my team can draw from to make the game.

    • Then I suggest you get permission before you start planning, as if you are denied permission, it will save you a lot of time. If you get permission, come back to us and we'll se what we can do.

Well, if you do get permission to use their likeness and brand in your game, then let me know via my message wall so we can discuss this further in the future.

  • Hello Orange, its been a while

I have been wondering if we could tie in every known Yogscast series with SOI, since at i52 2014, they confirmed an Expanded Universe for the entire series

  • I know ties were severed but you deleted them... why? They were still members of the Yogscast and in no way, had rights to be deleted from the wiki. As a Yogscast and GCBC fan, I am majorly angered you deleted them for "housekeeping".

    • Hey there! We were indirectly requested by the Yogscast to remove their pages. Because of their ill relationship, it was their decision to generally disassociate any links between the Yogscast and GameChap and Bertie, and as a result the Wiki pages had to also be removed. We were similarly sorry to see them go!

    • To add to this, the reason why one of the deletions was marked under "Housekeeping" was due to a wiki-wide restructuring period that was happening when those pages were being deleted. Almost all pages at that time were being deleted under the reason of wiki restructuring or housekeeping and it seems that the pages were caught during this time and were marked as housekeeping to delete them quickly and to move on to the next page(s).

I also want to mention that they are not members of the Yogscast anymore, as you stated otherwise in your original post. After a certain incident between Gamechap and the Yogscast Reddit community, the Yogscast cut all ties with them, including their "membership" of The Yogscast. As a result and as Noreplyz alulled to above, we did have the rights to remove those pages and we did so at the indirect request of The Yogscast.

    • Ahh I see. I mean I'm still a fan of the two, and it's sad to see them fully removed until MUCH later. It actually breaks my heart. I hope one day the two will make up... because I know Adam isn't a really mean person like that. He just has a very strict agenda, and I knew him since he had 50 or so subs. He's a cool guy, believe me. I don't know what just went with him. Yet again, he is also suffering allot of hate from many people, including the Yogscast community about certain things. I understand it's his channel content, but the Yogscast also do it indirectly too- even if they dont show it, laods of sexual references. So I don't see why people should be getting angry at GameChap about stuff. It's his channel... and he do what he wants. Yogscast staff could of asked but eh. I remember the post, and as much as I agree with it on MANY points, it was still uncalled for, but still.

But either, thanks for the answer. I am really sad to see them fully disappear from Yogscast database... I mean GameChap STILL follows them on Twitter... Perhaps the last ever tie we can ese until he removes that.

I don't think it's so much Adam's channel content that has gotten him so much hate from the Yogscast Community (hell, I think the Yogscast have more sexual references than Adam does just because of Kim and Hat Films), more what his parting message to them on Reddit was. If you haven't seen it yet, you can find it here but basically, Gamechap was extremely negative of the Yogscast Community; beginning the paragraph by calling them "a group of humour-starved individuals who are not worth the collective bandwidth cost of transmitting their usernames."
