Simon Clark, commonly known as Dr. Simon Clark, is an English YouTuber and Doctor, who is a close friend of theYogscast. He primarily does science videos but streams games on Twitch, as well as being known to occassionally cameo on the official Yogscast Youtube or Twitch channels, including the Civilization streams. He is also a commonly appearing guest at YogTowers during the Christmas Livestreams. Some members of the Yogs like Lewis have also appeared as a guest in his own videos.^[1]

In 2018, after the Yogscast moved offices, Simon, being a big fan of the Yogscast, as well as being very well versed with Bristol recognized Queen's Square out the window, of a video. He then decided to snoop around Queen's Square to find find Yogstudios, which he did. He soon posted a sly message on Twitter saying that he had eyed the office, but wouldn't tell about the secret location. He was greeted with a tweet telling him it was an open address.^[2]

In April 2021, Simon announced on YouTube^[3] that he would had authored a book to be published in 2022, titled "Firmament: The Hidden Science of Weather, Climate Change and the Air That Surrounds Us".

Simon runs a podcast called Wikicast with his friend Dan.
Simon has a PhD in theoretical atmospheric physics.
Simon studied at the University of Exeter and at St Peter's College, University of Oxford. He has been invited back to Oxford lecture on physics before.^[4]
Simon's long-term girlfriend is known as Pixel Girl, because her face is blurred out in photos with him.^[5]
Simon is a volunteer for his Boy Scout troop for a week every year.
