Ye Olde Goone Squade (YOGS) is the name of the World of Warcraft guild where Lewis and Simon first met online. The original Yogscast team grew out of the guild's connections, with Rythian, Sips, Duncan and Zoey being among its members. TotalBiscuit was also a part of the guild, as revealed during a Christmas livestream of Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon.
The guild was located on "The Venture Co." EU PVP RP server.
Ye Olde Goone Squade is known as a "Goone" guild because it consists primarily of members of the Something Awful Forums, whom are called Goons.[2] Simon and Lewis, among others in the Yogscast, were also members of the SA Forums.
Ye Olde Goone Squade is abbreviated to "YOGS," which is where the names Yogscast and YoGPoD come from.
Xephos in YOGS[]
According to his profile on the Ye Olde Goone Squade Forums, Xephos registered his profile there on November 21, 2007, and was last active on January 27, 2011.[3] Xephos has 584 posts on the forum, many of which can still be read.[4]

Honeydew in YOGS[]
According to his profile on the Ye Olde Goone Squade Forums, Honeydew registered his profile there on April 06, 2007, and was last active on July 23, 2011.[5] His status reveals that he is currently "on a break". Honeydew has 230 posts on the forum, many of which can still be read.[6]

Sjin in YOGS[]
In the "About" section of the YOGS home page, a history of the guild is given, in which "the Night Elf Hunter Sjin" is mentioned under the heading "Past Achievements".[7]
Apparently, Sjin was a member of the YOGS guild and became the server's first "Grand Marshal". Because of this, it seems he garnered considerable respect in the guild, as shown in a comment by the user "Bumblina" on the YOGS forums.[8]
Sips in YOGS[]
He was a paladin in their guild under the name 'Sips'.
